Bio

Zachary Dripps is an experienced freelance director of photography with a demonstrated history of working in the motion pictures and film industry. He is a strong professional filmmaker with an MFA in Cinema and Media Production focused in Cinematography from Boston University. Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado by his parents Lesley and David Dripps, he grew up the oldest of three children. His interest in filmmaking first sparked when he filmed rebellious comedy skits with his friends at Boulder High School.

The group went on to try their hand at some local film festivals, where their 17 and Under category short film "Out" was one of the 12 films to premiere out of 50 submissions. Then in 2008 the short "Brock vs Jon" won awards for Audience Favorite, Loudest Applause, and Best Original Score at the Boulder Shootout Film Festival. After that success and local notoriety, he then decided to pursue film as a career.
